Verve supports Camelot’s acclaimed app innovation
London, 21st October 2016. Verve’s inventive approach to mobile research has aided Camelot’s latest, widely acclaimed app development – incorporating QR technology.
Verve has collaborated with Camelot to launch the latest version of its app – which utilises QR scanning to improve the speed and accuracy of checking play tickets. Employing a mix of research methodologies, the results helped to ensure the app delivered a simple, convenient and enjoyable experience for players.
The results were unanimously positive! At a topline level, satisfaction with checking results using the new app vs. current method soared and several benefits were identified – useful for communicating the advantages to retail customers, who might otherwise be resistant to changing their regular Lottery routine.
MobileMarketing, who shortlisted the latest app development for its 2016 Mobile Marketing awards, were equally impressed with the final product: “Camelot knew from the off that customers liked the idea, with over 300,000 customers using the app to scan 940,000 tickets in the first week.
